After moving to the Vale of York I started painting and dyeing silk in 2003.  I studied textile design for two years. At the end of the course people wanted to buy my work.   I have lived and worked in many countries so my work is influenced by different cultures.

I use only the finest quality Chinese silk, from an ethical source and French dye to create vibrant silk scarves ( both ladies and mens ), silk ties, silk cravats, silk purses, silk necklaces, and other silk gifts, along with silk paintings and cards.  All items are hand-dyed or painted individually and are therefore unique.

I sell my work through galleries, in Thirsk (Box of Delights) and Knaresborough (Art in the mill).  I also sell at craft fairs throughout the country, (see show dates) and through my online shop.
